- NSN 3040-00-937-2026 Part Number 10923031. The item to procure is an Actuator, Mechanical. It is an actuator assembly, with variable recoil. It consists of the housing assembly, gear shaft, cover assembly, gear shaft assembly, and various shims, washers, keys and hardware. FOB is Destination. The proposed contract will be a 3-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 50 each and a maximum contract quantity of 250 each. Projected estimates are 25 each for each subsequent ordering period. The minimum guaranteed quantity for this procurement is 50 each. For use on the M109 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 10 Nov 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm Proposed contract is 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business set-aside. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capacity to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Offers must be submitted in the English language and in U.S. dollars. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
