Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center -- Fort Sam Houston and the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) are conducting an Industry Day conference and one-on-one appointments at Fort Sam Houston 19 20 Nov 09 in order to share information on the Governments requirement. The Support Base Services (SBS) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts will provide the IMCOM Garrisons with quality labor for non-government in nature tasks in 12 different functional task areas. Services shall be performed at 16 primary Force Generation Installations across the country. See draft PWS (Attachment 1) for specific information on task areas and locations. The proposed SBS contracts are being considered for small business set-aside. The anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NACIS) code for this acquisition is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The size standard for this NAICS is $35.5 Million. The Industry Day conference will be held on 19 Nov 09, starting at 0900 with sign-in starting at 0800. There will be a general session in the morning on 19 Nov 09. The Government will be available for one-on-one appointments with vendors on 19 Nov 09, begining at 1300. One-on-one appointments will also be available on 20 Nov 09, beginning at 0830. The purpose of the one-on-one appointments is to answer questions about the requirement and allow the Government to obtain specific feedback from your companys representatives. Each company will be allotted 20 minutes for the one-on-one appointments. The conference and appointment locations on Fort Sam Houston, Texas will be provided to all registered vendors via e-mail. 1. Industry Day registration: Please complete the Industry Day section of Attachment 2, the Registration sheet, and return to the point of contacts (POCs) at the bottom of this page NLT noon 6 Nov 2009. 2.One-on-one appointments: a. Attendance at one-on-one appointments will be limited to a total of five (5) representatives per contractor team (prime and subcontractors). b. Any company that would like to request a one-on-one appointment must convey its interest by completing the one-on-one section of Attachment 2, the Registration sheet, with the names of individuals attending, and a single contractor POC email address and cell phone number no later than noon, 6 November 2009. Send this information to the POCs at the bottom of this page. A government representative will contact each contractor POC as soon as possible, but no later than 10 Nov 2009 with their one-on-one day/time allotment. Appointments will be made on a first come-first serve basis. c. Please do not bring materials for distribution, as the SBS Team will not accept any materials offered. d. The one-on-one appointments will consist of any information on contractor/contractor team capabilities and experience that the participants would like to share, and questions. All questions and answers will be documented by the government SBS Team, and a compendium of all questions (unattributed to the requesting contractor) and answers from the Industry Day and one-on-one meetings will be posted on FedBizOpps. Industry Day briefing slides and attendance sheets will also be posted to FedBizOpps. e. The 20 minute time limit will be strictly adhered to. 3. Advance Questions: If you have any specific questions that you would like the government to answer during the Industry Day regarding the SBS program, please submit them to the POCs at the bottom of this page no later than 10 November 2009. 4. Risk Assessment: The Government has conducted a risk assessment for the SBS requirement. The Government is requesting that all interested parties, regardless of business size under the anticipated NAICS, review the summary of the risk assessment and provide feedback. We are very interested in obtaining Industrys comments. Any feedback you can provide will be appreciated and seriously considered. The link to the risk assessment summary is located as Risk Assessment Summary (Attachment 3) under this posting. 5. Recommend you periodically check Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov) for pertinent information. 6. POCs: Email responses to both John Winnie and Belinda Kent at: john.winnie@us.army.mil and belinda.kent2@us.army.mil. Please do not include or attach brochures in addition to your response. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is submitted in response to this posting. Any information submitted is voluntary.
