- VA-797-10-RI-0013 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR IV POLES RFI closes November 5, 2009, 4:00 pm Central Standard Time The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for IV Poles. VA NAC wishes to learn if there are customary commercial practices in the market place regarding the specifications and packaging of IV Poles items. This is an effort to ensure the specifications are not overly restrictive or unreasonable. Please submit any suggestions, questions, comments on specifications; and/or information, including product literature/brochures describing your firm's ability interest to provide these items. Adjustable telescopic pole when compressed measures a minimum of 50 inches and must extend to a height of at least 75 inches. 3. Knob-operated friction lock for height adjustment. 4. Minimum of five legs at base constructed of corrosion-resistant material. 5. Non-locking, securely attached, swivel caster wheels with diameter of no less than 2-1/2 inches. 6. Four hook top model 7.
