- Description
- Persistent Broadband Ground Connectivity for Spacecraft in Low Earth Orbit Request for Information The Defense Advanced Research Project Agency's (DARPA's) Tactical Technology Office (TTO) is requesting information on possible approaches to providing persistent, low-latency, broadband data communications between spacecraft in low earth orbit (LEO) and the ground that can be in operational use by 2012-2013. DARPA's interest is in identifying end-to-end solutions that can provide 24/7 or near-24/7 two-way connection availability at latencies and bandwidth that are commensurate with performing telemetry, real-time control, sharing of network resources, and data exfiltration for a wide array of mission payloads.
