- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source due to a unique capability provided, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center, Fort Bragg, NC, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Sceenvison Direct. The Contractor shall furnish all services and supplies, not otherwise provided by the Government, to provide the Army Community Services at Fort Bragg, North Carolina Videos at Market Fair 15 or Carmike 12 in Hope Mills. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Bragg, NC has received a request from the Army Community Services for Video time for 52 weeks at the Market Fair 15 or Carmike 12 in Hope Mills NC. This is in support of the Army Community Services mission. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due by 29 Oct 2009, 3:00 P.M. (EST).
