Description

THIS MODIFICATION IS ISSUED AS A FORMAL CANCELLATION FOR THIS REQUIREMENT/SOLICITATION (N68335-10-T-0019). Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Lakehurst New Jersey IT/IM Department requires annual maintenance on critical Storage Area Network (SAN) products, primarily provisioned with EMC equipment, which function as key infrastructure component of the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) network. This equipment has been under maintenance coverage and is currently in use. Location is the Naval Air Engineering Station - Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Support shall include onsite repair/ replacement where required, as well as software and firmware upgrades to insure proper functioning of SAN equipment, including fiber switches, arrays, servers, etc., and systems troubleshooting and correction. Shall include repair/ replacement of equipment including existing FC, ATA drives. The required maintenance levels relate to EMC's maintenance service/support products (from EMC.COM), which is defined as follows: Premium support option - 7x24, same-day, and onsite support Installation of platform operating system updates. Installation of replacement parts. Four-hour onsite response objective for hardware; Proactive Service Root-cause analysis; 24x7 hardware and software technical support and remote troubleshooting. All support includes Secure Self-Help 24x7 access to Powerlink eService support tools including knowledgebase, forums, and software updates as well as E-Lab Interoperability Navigator. Schedule is for FY10 and option years. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government.
