Description
This is a Sources Sought synopsis announcement for market research in support of the Department of Army’s Weapons & Software Engineering Center, Benet Laboratories, located at Watervliet, New York. This information will be utilized for preliminary planning purposes. The information received will be utilized within the General Services Administration and Department of Army to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside either agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing this information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request (RFP) for Proposal or Request for Quote (RFQ) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Further, the General Services Administration and the Department of Army is not seeking proposals or quotes and will not accept unsolicited proposals or quotes. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the analysis. If adequate responses are not received from 8(a), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SNVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), or Small Business concerns, the acquisition may be solicited on an unrestricted basis. All data received in response to this Sources Sought synopsis that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Since this is a Sources Sought announcement, no debrief, evaluation letters, or results will be issued to respondents. Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses, and if the Government plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on Federal Business Opportunities (Fedbizopps) at www.fbo.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a proposal package or solicitation. There is no proposal package or solicitation at this time. In order to protect the Government integrity of any future procurement, if any, which may arise from this Sources Sought announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The general scope of this requirement is the delivery of the following Comrod Antenna kits to Watervliet, New York: 1. 100 Comrod Low Band Antenna Kit (Comrod Part Number: 042680-1) (NSN: 5985.25.151.6009) 2. 100 Comrod High Band Antenna Kit (Comrod Part Number: 040190-1) (NSN: 5985.25.151.6018) Interested sources are invited to respond to this Sources Sought synopsis by sending a maximum two-page document with the following information: 1.
