Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command previously issued a synopsis under solicitation N00024-09-C-4200 for the intent to procure Follow-on Technical Support and Ship Transfer services through unrestricted full and open competition on a cost plus award fee basis for services in support of U.S. Ships that are bought, sold or otherwise transferred through the FMS program to FMS customers. Please noted that the solicitation number for this effort has been changed from N00024-09-R-4200 to N00024-10-R-4204. All future announcements regarding this effort will be posted under the new solicitation number. This synopsis is also being issued to notify potential offerors that a draft solicitation has been posted on NECO at www.neco.navy.mil and on FBO at www.fedbizopps.gov for industry review and comment. Industry comments are requested no later than 4 November 2009. A competitive solicitation is expected to be issued shortly thereafter. All comments or inquiries should be emailed to tara.borntreger@navy.mil. The Naval Sea Systems Command is also planning to schedule an Industry Day. Once scheduled, details including the date, time and location will be announced through NECO and FBO. All questions or comments should be submitted electronically to tara.borntreger@navy.mil and reference Solicitation Number N00024-10-R-4204.. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) site at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) site at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Offerors may utilize either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command.
