Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition is reserved for 100% set-aside for small businesses. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, (NGA), has a requirement for a Laser Engraver. The solicitation number is HM017710T0001 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System Code, (NAICS), is 332212 with a size standard of $7.0 million. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Closing date for this notice is 12:00p.m. EST, Friday October 23, 2009. RESPONSES SHALL BE SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL ONLY TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST Harriet.Saulsbury@NGA.MIL. SUBJECT: Legend 36EXT-75 Watt Laser Engraver CLIN: 0001 -Legend 36EXT-75 watt laser engraver or equivalent -Work area must be a minimum of 36x24x12 -Thickness must cut up to ¼" thick acrylic -Must have digitally controlled, laser tubes that are fully modular -Permanently aligned and replaceable. -Ability to attach an air compressor to remove heat & gases -PC compatible -Control panel to control the laser settings Red Dot Pointer - Commercial Off the shelf software compatible (in English) 110-240 Volt 1ph -Service plan to include on site spares for any fragile or frequently serviced parts CLIN: 0002 -Air compressor or equivalent CLIN: 0003 -Vector pin table or equivalent SOLICITATION PROVISIONS: Offeror should be registered in ORCA.
