Description

The United States Coat Guard, MLC Atlantic intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Energy Cranes LLC, for the overhaul and maintenance of the American Aero Crane Model Oceanmaster Coast Guard 300 (CG300) Marine Crane. Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.320-1(a)(2)(iii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Energy Cranes LLC. is the only manufacturer that possesses the necessary proprietary data to overhaul and repair the cranes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all information received within five days after this notice. Information can be emailed to douglas.g.landau@uscg.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
