Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W91CRB10r0003. The U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Orlando, Florida Team intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order with the University of Central Florida Foundation, 4000 Central Florida Blvd., Orlando, Florida, 32826-8005, to acquire architectural drawings necessary to support the renovation of the laboratory areas of the Simulation and Technology & Training Center located at 12423 Research Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826. This sole source is based on FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The University of Central Florida Foundation is the only supplier that uniquely meets the qualifications to perform the necessary work to acquire architectural drawings to support the laboratory renovation effort. The University of Central Florida Foundation owns the facility that RDECOM STTC is housed in and must manage the work being conducted within the facility. The UCF Foundation also possesses special knowledge of the facility and the original drawings from when the building was designed and built. Any other vendor would be required to create drawings from scratch which would significantly increase the cost and schedule to the government.
