- PR No: IQC09281009010; This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for IGNITER, SPARK utilized on the F108 Turbine Engine. This solicitation is for award of an indefinite quantity contract. The solicitation has a base year and four option years. Source and Configuration Control applies. The NSN and Annual Estimated Quantity (AEQ) are as follows: NSN: 2925-01-263-9433 Approved sources: CHAMPION AEROSPACE LLC CAGE 0AFL4 P/N CH31900-6 CFM INTERNATIONAL, INC. CAGE 58828 P/N 1374M13P11 UNISON INDUSTRIES, LLC CAGE 59501 P/N 9072215-1 AEQ: 840 ea Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, 101 days. Surge requirements do not apply to this NSN. This is not a small business set aside. Other than full and open competition applies. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about November 6, 2009. The anticipated award date is March 28, 2010. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
