Description

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), managing contractor of the Savannah River Site (SRS) for the Department of Energy (DOE), solicits interested firms desiring to be considered for a bid opportunity to investigate shallow subsurface soil and groundwater in support of RCRA/CERCLA. Candidates interested: must own or lease 30 Ton Cone Penetration equipment, maintain a Quality System and Manual, be qualified to NQA-1-2000 and offer seismic data processing. Any company interested shall submit a letter of interest to David McCowan(email acceptable) before the closing date of November 4, 2009. The acquisition labor category Davis Bacon ACT (DBA) or Service Contract Act (SCA) is to be determined. Only firms who have a demonstrated safety performance equal to the following standards shall be eligible for award: Davis Bacon Act : 3-year average Interstate Experience Modification Rate of 1.0 or less, and a 3-year average Total Recordable Case Rate of 5.4 or less. Any interested firm who is deemed qualified to perform these services under the DBA must become signatory to the Site Support Alliance Agreement and be capable of providing payment and performance bonds. Service Contract Act : -year average Interstate Experience Modification Rate of 1.0 or less, and a 3-year average Total Recordable Case Rate of 3.8 or less.
