- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912P5-10-R-0003. Request for Proposal (RFP) for firm fixed price requirements contract with a base and four (4) option years to provide operation and maintenance services to Cheatham Lake, Ashland City, Tennessee for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Furnish all necessary management, supervision, inspection, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, parts, fuel, equipment, vehicles and transportation to perform the following work: septic tanks and beach water testing, grass mowing, cleaning services, beach maintenance, portable toilet pumping, cleaning for remote areas, leaf removal, marking and painting boundary lines, janitorial services, very limited construction and a variety of other services associated with the operation of the water resources project at Cheatham Lake, Ashland City, Tennessee. Cheatham Lake is located on the Cumberland River and the dam is 40 miles northwest of Nashville, Tennessee. The areas of work are located in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Montgomery, and Stewart Counties Tennessee. Solicitations will be available on or before 5 November 2009 and is anticipated to close 15 December 2009 at the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit meeting and tour. Date and time to be announced in the solicitation. No other site visit will be arranged. Please check the solicitation for the proposal due date, which will be approximately four-six weeks after the initial posting date of the solicitation. Award will be based on best value continuum. Work to begin on or about 01 March 2010 with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year periods. All Offerors are responsible to check the FBO website for any changes/postings to this solicitation. Contractor must demonstrate the ability to bond at least 25% of the total proposed price prior to award. It is anticipated the proposed action will be advertised as award without discussions, however, the government reserves the right to hold discussions at it's discretion. Point of Contact: Erin E.
