- The Program Manager for Robotic and Unmanned Sensors (PM RUS) is hosting an Industry Day Conference for the Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS), Solicitation number W15P7T-10-R-S405. The purpose of this Conference is to brief the acquisition strategy and schedule, provide preliminary technical information and to receive industry feedback for the follow-on production, operations and sustainment contract for the PTDS. The Industry Day will be held in Eatontown, New Jersey on 27 October 2009, to be followed by scheduled One-on-One sessions 28-29 October 2009, at the Sheraton Eatontown. The US Army CECOM LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM LCMC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Upon accessing this web page, click on CECOM-Market Research and then hit go. You will need to register with the IBOP in order to view solicitations. Files shall not contain any classified data. To register, go to the IBOP website at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil and click on the User Registration link under Support Services. The following is additional information on the One-on-One sessions and Industry Day: 1.One on One Session Ground Rules: a. Due to space limitations, attendance at One-on-One sessions will be limited to a total of five (5) representatives per contractor team (prime and subcontractors). Any company that wishes to request a One-on-One session with the PTDS Team must convey its interest, the names of individuals attending (limit of five), and a single contractor point of contact (POC) email address no later than noon, 21 October 2009 through IBOP or to: Kristen Wagner kristen.wagner@us.army.mil A representative of the government PTDS Team will contact each contractor POC on approximately 21 October 2009 with their One-on-One day/time allotment. Day/time allotments will be scheduled on a first come-first serve basis. b. Please do not bring materials for distribution, as the PTDS Team will not accept any materials offered. c. The One-on-One session will include any information on contractor/contractor team capabilities and experience that the participants would like to share, and asking questions to be collected by the PTDS Team. All questions and answers will be documented by the government PTDS Team, and a compilation of all questions (unattributed to the requesting contractor) and answers from the Industry Day and One-on-One sessions will be posted on FEDBIZOPS and IBOP. d. The 1-hour time limit will be strictly adhered to. 2.Industry Day Agenda: The planned October 27, 2009 Industry Day agenda (subject to change) is as follows: 1300-1330 Opening Remarks 1330-1400 PTDS Overview 1430-1445 Break 1445-1530 Acquisition Strategy 1530-1645 Q&A 1645-1700 Closing Session/Remarks 1700-1900 No-Host Social/Networking Sheraton Lounge 3.Reminder Advance Questions: If you have any specific questions that you would like the government to answer during the Industry Day regarding the PTDS program, please submit them thru IBOP no later than 23 October 2009. 4.NOTE: THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, AND IS NOT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO RELEASE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR AWARD A CONTRACT. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this announcement and submittals will not be returned to the sender. 5. Draft Documents for Industry Review: Draft versions of the Performance Work Statement and Performance Based Specification are attached, comments to these documents should be provided during Industry Day or via email no later than Friday, October 23, 2009 to the below POC.
