- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NOI-RRB-101 AND THE SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AS AN NOTICE OF INTENT. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition circular (FAC 2005-18). This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334516 and the small-business size is 500. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Aging (NIA) acquire service contract on a Dako Cytomation Moflo High Speed Flow Cytometer; period of performance 12 months. This order will be awarded to Beckman Coulter who is the owner of the equipment. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
