- SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one source will satisfy agency requirements [10 USC 2304(c) (1)]. A firm fixed priced contract will be issued to Rocker Solenoid Co. for repair services of government owned solenoid valves. This requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-S10. The solicitation number issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) is N00253-09-T-0241 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334418 and has a size standard of 500. The government prefers FOB Destination pricing to NUWC Keyport, WA 98345-7610. Requirements and evaluation procedures are listed in the attached solicitation. This solicitation is required to be completely filled out and returned before the solicitation closes. STANDARD WARRANTYThe Contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of any standard warranty normally offered in a similar sale, provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the standard warranty does not waive the Government's rights under any "Inspection" clause that may be in the contract nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of thecontract shall take precedence over the standard warranty. The standard warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable material and/or services listed in the Schedule. The Contractor shall provide a copy of its standard warranty (if applicable)with its offer. The warranty covers a period of ____________ months(offeror is to insert number). GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY (a) The Government will furnish the following property to the Contractor for use in performance of this contract in accordance with the following schedule: PROPERTY: solenoid valves ACQUISITION COST: $2,000.00 QUANTITY: 6 each Delivery of such property will be made by Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Keyport 610 Dowell Street Keyport, WA. 98345-7610. (b)The property will be delivered at Government's expense at or near (The Contractor is to insert the address, city or town and state in which the plant is located; and if rail transportation is specified in paragraph (a) above, the exact location of private siding or public team track at which rail shipments will be received, as well as the name of the railroad(s): ___________________________________________________________ (c)Only the property listed above in the quantity shown will be furnished by the Government. All other property required for performance of this contract shall be furnished by the Contractor. (d)Within 30 days after Government furnished property is determined by the Contractor to be lost, damaged, destroyed, no longer usable, or no longer needed for the performance of the contract, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer, in writing, thereof.
