Description
Historical Book Conservation Services This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 424920 with an industry size standard of 500 employees. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, the acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-37. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. See Clause 52.212-2 -Evaluation of Commerical Items, the evaluation criteria will be based on best value with personnel, proposal content and methodology, on-site performance and contractor's off-site studio/work space as evaluation factors. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, incorporated by reference. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items- It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. FAR Provisions and Clauses may be viewed and/or downloaded from http://www.arnet.gov/far/. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (website: http://www.ccr.gov/), or be registered prior to receiving award. Description of requirement: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for Book Conservation Services, please refer to the attached Statement of Work (SOW) for requirement details. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside.
