Description
Detailed Description Attached The Advance Medical Developmental (AMD) Program of the Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) is seeking currently available or technologies in the development that either are designed for or are adaptable to non-contact detection of living human body function (e.g. heartbeat, respiration, temperature, blood pressure) from a distance without use of wired devices or contact measurements. Target acquisition to signal interpreting time (output) should be under sixty seconds. The objectives are to: (a) Detect living human presence in open field setting; and/or (b) Detect vital signs or basic human body function in closed settings, within rooms or behind closed doors. See attached Request For Information for additional information. Instructions for submission: 1. Format specifications include 12-point font, single spaced, and 8.5 x 11 in paper, with 1-inch margins. All submissions should be electronic, adhere to the format described below, and use either Adobe Acrobat PDF or Microsoft Word. 2. Cover Page (1 page) a. Title b. Organization c. Responder's Technical and administrative points of contact (names, phone number, fax numbers and e-mail addresses) 3. Technical Description (5 pages maximum) 4. Appendix: Supporting Publications [ when applicable] (Peer reviewed, conference, or trade journal - No maximum number of pages.
