Description
This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes or offers are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. WC1SH50266N007 is being issued as a Request for Quote, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. This acquisition is RESTRICTED to Alaskan businesses and set aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 711130 small business standard size is $7 million. Description: Line Item 0001 Protestant Music Services. Period of Performance is one (1) year plus two (2) option years, when exercised. Statement of Work: 1. Contractor will provide music services for the Fort Wainwright Protestant Service on Sundays, 11:00 a.m. at Building 3430, the North Lights Chapel, Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Music services will be defined as: (1) Select music appropriate for each service, based on the theme for each service, to include an appropriate prelude, offertory, postlude, and a minimum of three hymns. The theme for each service will be provided by the Pastor, who will also provide input for musical selections. Select the appropriate instrument to accompany the music selected for each service (piano, organ, guitar or combination of instruments) and either provide the accompaniment or select an accompanist from available volunteers. (2) Provide music for additional (volunteer) musician to play. (3) Select music and hymns, including selection and completion of order forms for music ordering. (4) Contractor will arrive at least 25 minutes prior to Sunday services and remain in the sanctuary/chancel areas (where the piano and organ are located) for the duration of the entire service. The contractor will be available to provide music services at any time during the Service. (5) The contractor will be required to schedule and regulate a one hour weekly rehearsal to prepare for worship services. This rehearsal will include any meetings with the contractor to rehearse the weekly selections. The Contractor will coordinate all contractual activities with the Contracting Office. 2. This contract may be cancelled without cause by either party upon written request presented with 30 days advance notice. Failure to provide services as specified in this contract may result in immediate termination of the contract by the Contracting Officer. 3. Contractor shall provide, in accordance with the Statement of Work, a total of 114 services (52 rehearsals, 52 Sunday Services and 10 Special Services (memorials, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and other events.) 4. Offerors shall provide our contracting agency a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-- Commercial Items, along with their quote. A copy of the Offerors Representations and Certifications may be obtained at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award can only be made to contractors registered in Central Contractor Registration http: www.ccr.gov.
