Description

Statement of Need MRI Mobile Trailer Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z4539246AL02; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36 10 Sep 09, Defense DCN 20090825, and AFAC 2009-0803 20090803. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621512. The business size standard is $13.5M. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is W065. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8071. THIS IS 100% UNRESTRICTED. Travis AFB intends to award a brand name purchase order for a (1) MRI Mobile Trailer in accordance with the attached Statement of Need. CLIN 0001: Monthly Rental of GE 1.5 Echo Speed Plus MR System Coverage from 8am to 9pm CLIN 0002: Transportation Charge for GE 1.5 Echo Speed Plus MR System to and from facility. **TRAILER MUST BE DELIVERED NLT 2 NOV 09** ** PLEASE INCLUDE DELIVERY DATE** Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1: Deliver date must be in compliance with statement of need date of 2 Nov 09. 2: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable in accordance with the statement of need.
