- The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease space consisting of approximately 8,400 rentable square feet, to yield approximately 4,218 ANSI/BOMA Office Area (usable) square feet of office space and 3,096 usable square feet of warehouse/shop space available for use by tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment, within the following delineated area: East: Eastern City Limits of Lynden, WA West: Interstate 5 South: Washington State Highway 542 North: Canadian Border The space must be contiguous and contain 14 visitor/employee parking spaces, including at least one ADA designated parking space. In addition, secured, outside parking for 6 government-owned vehicles will be required and the warehouse/shop space must be able to accommodate parking for 2 oversized government vehicles. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm with one five-year renewal option and must be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than March 17, 2011; however, earlier occupancy is desired. All services, supplies, utilities and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of rental consideration and the offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Life Safety, Seismic Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Expressions of interest should be submitted to the following person and address in writing, via email, or fax, and should provide the site address, size, and the offered square footage. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. PDT, October 30, 2009. GSA is using a tenant broker to represent the Government in lease negotiations for this transaction. In no event shall a potential offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning a space to be leased with representatives of any Federal agency other than the authorized officers and employees of GSA or their authorized representative LaBonde Land, Inc./Studley. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by broker/agent must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the ownership of the building or property.
