Description
Electronic Systems Center (ESC) is seeking information in support of market research being conducted by the United States Air Force (USAF), ESC, 653d Electronic Systems Wing /853d Electronic Systems Group Foreign Military Sales Division to assess the capability to procure, field, install, integrate and sustain a Wide Area Multilateration (WAM) system to provide enroute Air Traffic Control (ATC) surveillance. This system is necessary to improve operational Air Traffic Management (ATM) Systems and procedures with the Kyrgyzstan Flight Information Regions (FIRs). All this equipment must be carefully integrated with the existing enroute and terminal ATC systems, operating at Manas Airport, Bishkeck; Osh Airport and Tamchy Airport in the Yssykul region of the Kyrgyz Republic (KR). The intent is to deliver a turn-key operational WAM to the Kyrgyz Civil Aviation Authority and/or its State-Enterprise (SE) subsidiary corporation, Kyrgyz AeroNavigatzia (KAN).Interested companies can submit information that identifies the equipment requirements necessary to provide 24 hour ATM support for Enroute ATC during both Visual Flight Rules (VFR) and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations for fixed and rotary wing aircraft which transit and/or land within KR National airspace using existing KR airways. This ATM equipment will be capable of supporting all KR's aviation authorities as they improve their compliance with ICAO enroute CNS/ATM requirements. Please see the attached PDF document for additional detailed requirements. Request that your RFI response be submitted on or before 13 November 2009. Respondents should indicate which portions of their response are proprietary and should mark them accordingly.
