- GW Archive Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and quotes are being requested. A written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ-NAS-0037-10 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. This RFQ is issued on an unrestricted basis under North American Industry Classification System code 511210. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) intends to make a sole source award to Messaging Architects under FAR Subpart 13.5. The requirement is for the following: 1) One (1) annual software maintenance and support service for GW Archive Enterprise Site License which includes support and upgrades, policy engine, Archive/Export/LM agents, email discovery clients and Emergency 24 hours per day, seven days per week support; 2) One (1) annual maintenance and support service for Premium Service Engineer with up to six (6) onsite visits per year, 24/7 access, 30 minutes response time, one (1) proactive system analysis, and quarterly service summary reports; and 3) One (1) Annual Assureon Support (NBD-GX2-G1F42750) with up to six (6) onsite visits per year, 30 minute response time, 24/7 access, one (1) proactive analysis, and quarterly service summary reports. The performance period will cover from October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through the website. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is included as an attachment to the combined synopsis/solicitation. Provisions and Clauses applicable to this acquisition are included as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The due date for quotes is October 21, 2009 at 12:00 noon, Eastern time.
