General InformationDocument Type: Presolicitation NoticeSolicitation Number:N63394-10-T-5000Classification Code:66 Subject: TELEMETRY RECORDER, BEST SOURCE SELECTOR AND DATAPROCESSING DECOM UNIT FOR THE NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER (NSWC) CORONA DIVISION Description:The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, CA plans to procure on an, other than full and open competition basis, Telemetry Recorder, Best Source Selector and DataProcessing Decom Unit in support of the Standard Missle-6 Program from Wyle Laboratories Inc., Telemetry and Data Systems, 44417 Pecan Court California, Maryland, 20619. Wyle Laboratories is the only known source that manufactures the Telemetry Recorder, Best Source Selector, Data Processing Decom that meets the technical requirements of the IRIG 106-07 Chapter 10 standard and Information Assurance mandates. In addition, this unit meets post event system component declassified requirements and compatibility requirements to operate with other Department of Defense Telemetry systems that support missile operations in support of Joint Military events. The award of this commercial purchase will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The contract has a 90 day performance period with an anticipated commencement date of 08 November 2009. The anticipated release date for this solicitation is on or around 28 October 2009 via the Fedbizopps and the NECO websites. The deadline for submitting a proposal will be 30 calendar days after the release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP).
