Description

To: All Requestors of the Prospectus for a Concession Business Opportunity for Marina, Merchandise, and Food and Beverage Operations within Amistad National Recreation Area. Re:Modification #2, CC-AMIS002-10 The responses to questions that were posted on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, contained an error.Question No. 4 asked why there were minimum and maximum numbers for houseboats and powerboats. Our response was that there are no minimums which is incorrect. There is a discrepancy between page 7 of Business Opportunity in the prospectus which identifies minimums required for houseboats and power boats, and the Draft Operating Plan (Exhibit B) which does not identify minimums for houseboats and powerboats. Our failure to include minimums in the Draft Operating Plan is an oversight that will be rectified in the final Operating Plan. The National Park Service has considered these minimums in terms of providing optimal visitor services based on current operations. However, over the life of the Contract, these minimums may be adjusted based on changes in demand.
