- This is an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) requirement for a total Annual Demand Quantity of 336 each under project Number is IQC245009002 for National Stock Number (NSN) 2995-01-159-4423 to procure a Shutoff Valve Assembly for the Black Hawk UH-60A Helicopter {40A}. Configuration Control Applies and this is a source controlled item. The Government required delivery schedule is 72 days. This is a Monthly Wartime rate of 5 ea starting at 30 days. The OEM for this item is Parker Hannifin Corp ABEX NWL Div. CAGE {93835} under part number 62617 with three approved sources of supply, Pall Aeropower Corp. CAGE {18350} under part number AA-A698-1D7A and Western Filter Corp CAGE {13520} under part number 330238. The delivery terms will be FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The solicitation contains a firm fixed price for a 1 year base with an additional 4- (1) one-year term option periods at the best interest of the Government. Variation in quantity is +/- 0%. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. This procurement will be issued as Unrestricted- utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
