- GARAGE BAY CONVERSION AT EXISTING GARAGE BUILDING AND FINISH UPGRADES AT MAIN BUILDING AT THE BORDER PATROL SECTOR HEADQUARTERS LOCATED IN SWANTON, VT. The project includes but is not limited to the following: Demolition, alteration and construction work required to convert the existing garage bay into an office, inclusive of removals of existing structures, mechanical and electrical systems, provision of a concrete floor slab, exterior wall construction (with metal wall panel exterior to match existing), resinous flooring, gypsum board wall finishes, SAT ceiling, painting, provision and tying into new mechanical and electrical systems, including lighting, power, telephone, data and fire alarm systems, multiple interior repairs. The contract will also include interior finish upgrades of the main building, including the removal of an existing interior corridor and entrance lobby floor and ceiling finishes, removal of shared toilet ceramic floor tile and fixtures, removal of kitchenette floor and cabinetry finishes, the provision of resilient and ceramic tile flooring, gypsum board wall finishes, SAT ceilings and painting, minimal mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems upgrades including lighting, power, fire alarm systems, and miscellaneous interior repairs. This procurement is a 100% HubZone Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code is 236220, Small Business Size Standard is $33.5 million. It is expected that the cost range will be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Estimated Solicitation issue date is on or about October 23, 2009. Pre-proposal conference will be on or about November 5, 2009. Proposals will be due on or about November 24, 2009. Completion date of project is 120 calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed which will be on or about December 8, 2009. Technical documents will be available through the secure website via a direct link from FEDBIZOPPS. Bidders are responsible for printing the Solicitation and all related documents. It is also the bidder's responsibility to monitor this site for release of the Solicitation, and amendments and any related information.
