Description
THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W15P7T09RS852. The United States Army CECOM Contracting Center, Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Maryland, 21010 intends to procure Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2)/Blue Force Tracking 2(BFT2) The Government anticipates a six (6) year Firm-Fixed-Price/Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, for the BFT-2 L-band bandwidth, network management services, engineering design and development services, satellite transceivers, and earth station hub and Network Operations Center equipment. The FBCB2 System is the Armys digital battle command information system at the brigade and below level. The FBCB2/BFT System uses commercial L-Band satellite services/satellite bandwidth leases to share platform-level information across a network, referred to as BFT-1. The FBCB2/BFT System provides soldiers and leaders in combat, combat support, and combat service support units, at the brigade and below level, with on-the-move, near real-time Situational Awareness, and Command and Control information, and provides a means for brigade and battalion commanders to lead when away from their Tactical Operations Centers. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for proposal. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number W15P7T-09-R-S852 is assigned for reference purposes. The U.S. Army CECOM Contracting Center has established the IBOP website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFP) Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Invitation for Bids (IFB) from CECOM to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil.
