Description
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement, a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. FOR PROPOSALS NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of all the Small Business Community (Small Business, Section 8a, SBA certified HUB Zone, SBA certified Small Disadvantaged Business, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract with one base year and four option years. An estimated value less than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) under the North American Industry Classification System (NIACS) code 811310 with a size standard size of $7 million. The Government is seeking qualified, experienced and reliable sources capable of performing quarterly preventive maintenance on Forklifts. The work will be done at Camp Hartell, 580 North Street, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. The forklifts are: Hyster Model E40XLM, Toyota Model 7FDU80, 2 each -Hyster Model E25XL, Hyster Model H60XLM, 2 each-Hyster Model E40XL you will be traveling to Camp Hartell to do all the maintenance. Scheduled maintenance dates will be coordinated with on-site points of contacts, names and contact information will be provided. All Small Business are encouraged to provide a proposal outlining their capabilities to perform this work with (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) Type of Small Business Community member (example Section 8a), (3) provide a discussion on how offeror plans to meet the preventive maintenance on all the different forklifts. Give a maintenance checklist for all the forklifts. (4) Provide no more than three (3) references, for no more than three (3) of the most recent and relevant contacts, performed within the last three (3) years. Include name, address, telephone number, and email address of references. Also, provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value, and period of performance. Contracts must be same or similar to the work described in this announcement. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency in making a decision whether to set this requirement aside for small business participation only.
