Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the provision of maintenance and repair of Automatic Transfer Switches for the Colmery-ONeil VA Medical Center, 2200 Southwest Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66622. The Government intends to negotiate the requirement sole source with ASCO Services Inc., 50-60 Hanover Road, Florham Park, NJ 07932; Ref: VA-255-09-RQ-0680. The sole source determination is justified in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Size Standard is $7.0 Million. The contract term will be for a base period of one year with option to renew one additional year. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are requested to review the above requirements, and submit a statement of interest that must be submitted on or before October 23, 2009. The determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
