- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Note: Only those vendors attending the site visit will be considered. EUCOM Chief of Staff Furniture Requirements Seeking furniture and proposed furniture designs to maximize an effective workspace environment while simultaneously displaying and executive office space. Space consists of three separate rooms, one room for the executive, one for the deputy to the executive and than a three and a half person administration front office. The general requirements for the rooms is below, but expectation is that vendor will propose a design based on the best usage of their furniture design. Room 204 (Chief of Staff - Executive Office) 1. Furniture must present a senior executive office with a traditional/classical appearance to include a receiving area to meet with important visitors. 2. Need an executive desk and supporting workspace around the desk sufficient for normal office work, including three personal computer monitors, Tandberg (video teleconference machine) and multiple phones, limited storage of files and daily usage of supplies. 3. Need space to hold two laser printers. 4. Sufficient bookshelf space for day-to-day storage of notebooks, files and/or display or professional book library. 5. Storage for coats and other clothing equipment based on seasonal wear or use. Room 206 (Chief of Staff - Executive Deputies Office) 1. Furniture must present a senior executive level front office with a traditional/classical appearance. 2. Furniture must present a senior executive office with a traditional/classical appearance to include a receiving area to meet with important visitors. 3. Need an executive desk and supporting workspace around the desk sufficient for normal office work, including three personal computer monitors, Tandberg (video teleconference machine) and multiple phones, limited storage of files and daily usage of supplies. 4. Need space to hold two laser printers. 5. Sufficient bookshelf space for day-to-day storage of notebooks, files and/or display or book collection. Room 205 (Chief of Staff - Executive level administration front office) 1. Furniture must present a senior executive level front office with a traditional/classical appearance. 2. Need three full work areas sufficient for normal secretarial/office work, including duel monitor screens, Tandberg (video teleconference machine) and multiple phones, limited storage of files and daily usage of supplies. 3. Sufficient storage for normal day-to-day office supply usage and files. Sufficient bookshelf space for day-to-day storage of notebooks, files etc. 4. Need space to hold two laser printers, fax machine, two digital scanners and one shared typewriter. EUCOM Overflow Staff Area Furniture Requirements Seeking furniture and proposed furniture designs to maximize an effective workspace environment while simultaneously displaying a professional office space. Space consists of one room requiring eight modular workspaces with general requirements for the room below, but expectation is that vendor will propose a design based on the best usage of their furniture into the proposed design. 1. Furniture must present a professional office environment for eight people with a traditional/classical appearance. 2. Need eight work areas, modular design acceptable with sufficient workspace for normal office type work, including space for duel monitor screens and telephones at each workspace and room for a shared Tandberg (video teleconference machine) and storage of files and daily usage of supplies. 3. Sufficient storage for normal day-to-day office supply usage and files. Sufficient bookshelf space for day-to-day storage of notebooks, files etc. 4. Need shared space to hold two laser printers, fax machine, two digital scanners and one shared typewriter. 5. A small conference or meeting area is preferred, but not required.
