Description
RECOVERY This is an amendment to a previously published announcement is to change the availability date of the solicitation, procedure, reassign the NAICS code and change the point of contact. The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has a requirement for the installation, and testing of a new 3h.p, single phase, 230 volt air compressor and 3h.p. 3 phase, 208 volt, and vacuum pump at the Tunison Laboratory of Aquatic Science, Cortland, New York. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The procurement is anticipated to include a period of performance of November 13, 2009 - March 8, 2010. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about October 6, 2009. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, 333911 and/or 339120 the size standard is $14M. The magnitude of the construction is between $25K and $100K. There is a no incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s) will be required in any resultant contract.
