Description
The international Contracting flight is currently seeking training, including course development for all aircrew and maintenance training on the C-130J model aircraft. This training must be conducted in a level "D" full motion flight simulator. There are currently no Government owned or operated facilities or equipment available to support this requirement. The contractor must have full, unrestricted access to their own Level D Flight Simulator. In addition this simulator must be reconfigurable to support a fourth aircrew member inside the cockpit. This forth position is to be designated as a Combat Systems Officer (CSO). In addition to Pilot initial and recurrent training, training for the loadmaster and ground maintenance crew (Airframe, Avionics, Electrical, Propulsion, Engine Run, Maintenance Manager and DTADS Administrator) are required. The contractor will also be responsible for difference training for the Pilot, Loadmaster, and CSO. The contractor must be able to support several training sessions simultaneously. The contractor will be responsible for all housing and transportation during the entire training period. Training to be conducted at the contractors facilities. These courses will support several Foreign Air Forces as well as US Forces from both active and reserve units, the US forces may be from any branch of the Military or other Government agency. Award of this contract is expected within 60 days of this notice and course development to begin immediately following award, with actual training to begin approximately 6-9 months from award date.
