- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. RECOVERY - ROAD 9737 RESURFACING, CLE ELUM RANGER DISTRICT, OKANOGAN -WENATCHEE NATIONAL FOREST, WA This project consists of resurfacing 2.14 miles of forest road with crushed aggregate (road is single lane with turnouts). The work includes reconditioning the existing roadway including ditches, and providing and placing crushed aggregate surfacing. Up to an additional 1 miles of resurfacing may be awarded. Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform the work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings. This project is located on the Cle Elum Ranger District of the Okanogan and Wenatchee Forests. It is on the NF Teanaway Road 9737, approximately 10 miles northeast of Cle Elum, WA. Go east from Cle Elum on SR970 to the Teanaway Road (milepost 6.9), then north 13 miles to the end of the county road and the beginning of the project. A negotiated firm fixed price contract is contemplated requiring submission of technical (mostly past performance information) and price proposal. Award will be made to the offeror who provides the best value to the Government. The estimated range of magnitude for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This acquisition is 100% Hubzone set aside. contractors are required to be certified with the Small Business Administration and registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
