- RECOVERY - This action is funded by the Recovery Act. The Social Security Administration (SSA) awarded a firm-fixed price task order (SS00-09-31243) to Strategic e-Business Solutions (SeBS) on August 22, 2009 against GSA Schedule number GS-10F-0433N. The Task Order is a result of solicitation number SSA-RFTOP-09-2006. A Special Notice was posted on April 21, 2009 to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website to notify the vendor community of the requirement and that Recovery funds would be used. Task Order number SS00-09-31243 is acquiring consulting services with the current skill sets to evaluate the Social Security Administration's (SSA) process for selecting the replacement strategy for the National Computer Center (NCC) building and to independently evaluate SSA's efforts towards implementing the strategy. The period of performance for the task order will be for a base period which expires after April 29, 2010 and for three one-year option periods. The majority of the work will be performed at the contractor's facility and some work may be required at the SSA complex located in Woodlawn, Maryland. The base period of the task order was awarded on August 22, 2009 using fiscal year (FY) 2009 appropriations. However, on September 25, 2009, Modification One to the task order was issued to change the appropriations for the base period from FY2009 appropriations to American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) appropriations. The base period is being funded using ARRA funds and it is anticipated that the three one-year option periods will also be funded using ARRA funds if exercised.
