Description
The Veterans Administration Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky (VAMC-Louisville) will be issuing a solicitation for has the demolition and replacement of the existing boiler system. Sources are being sought for those contractors whose primary experience exist in the replacement and installation of boiler systems. The NAICS code applicable to this solicitation is 561210, Facilities Support Services. This project will require the specialization of several construction and specialty trades which overlap the following NAICS codes: 221330, 236220, 238990, 238210, 238220,238290 and 238390. Project will include, but is not limited to the demolition, asbestos removal, equipment replacement, provisions for temporary backup boiler system, interior building finishing as well as some additional specialty construction trades. This is not a request for competitive proposals. This is for market research and informational purposes only, to determine if sufficient competition exists in one of the following Socio-economic categories: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, or 8(a). Interested parties may identify their experience in providing this requirement by submitting a detail resume of their most recent experience in the demolition and installation of a boiler system within the last 5 years. Information received will be used for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be received no later than 12:00pm on Tuesday October 13, 2009.
