Description
This project is for the Repair of the Ductwork in building 500, Malmstrom AFB, (Great Falls) Montana. Work consists of repair and replacement of existing HVAC system ductwork, equipment and controls in order to provide proper air exchange and temperature control throughout the building. The main supply ductwork is routed over the top of some secure areas. Ceilings in many areas will have to be removed to accommodate the work. Conduits, cable trays and communications cables will need to be rerouted. Staff will need to be temporarily relocated in some areas to allow the work to proceed. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to repair the ductwork at building 500, Malmstrom AFB, MT, in accordance with the project specifications and drawings. This Request for Proposal will be available on or about 28 Jul 2009. The Request for Proposal will close on or about 28 Aug 2009. The Performance Period for this project is one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal is available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.eps.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://ccr.edi.disa.mil/ccragent/p/sq1/ccr.welcome). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 31 Dec 2009, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/). The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00.
