Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in continuation of the work performed under N00019-07-D-0005-0023. This effort will include all labor and materials required to perform non-recurring efforts to design and develop retrofit kits, Validation and Verification (VAL/VER), and preparation and delivery of Routine Action Technical Directives (TDs) for the upgrades required to retrofit MH-60S aircraft with fixed provisions to allow the fleet flexibility in the deployment and use of the Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM) mission systems. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;” because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60S design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
