- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase Germane systems, GS3101-NU-01 3U servers, Model #72991-01, qty. 10, to collect and analyze Large Aperture Bow (LAB) Array Data to determine acoustic array performance. The systems must interface with the existing LAB Array tactical network infrastructure, collect the tactical and test data, store this data on disk, process the data and graphically display the results. NUWCDIVNPT must use the same hardware to ensure reliable data transfer, storage, processing and display. Selection of different hardware will result in additional hardware certification testing and extensive modifications to data collection and display software that will not be cost effective to the government. Sole make and model is required, no substitutes. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-10-Q-0005. A firm fixed price type purchase order is anticipated. NAICS Code 334419, Size Standard is 500 employees. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, and DFARS 52.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items apply. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9 applies. The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: Per FAR Subpart 39.2, Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) item or service provided under this contract shall comply with the EIT Accessibility Standards 36 C.F.R. 1194.41 - Information, Documentation, and Support. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: Taxpayer I.D., Cage Code, and DUNS #.
