Description

Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform roof repairs and HVAC renovations at Building #20 at U.S. Coast Guard Sandy Hook Station, Monmouth County, NJ. The project includes but is not limited to roofing replacement, metalwork modifications, sealant replacement, steel door installation, HVAC equipment replacement and modifications, ductwork and piping reconfigurations and miscellaneous associated work. This Invitation for Bids is 100% set-aside for small business participation for which the applicable small business size standard is $33.5 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. This project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The applicable NAICS code is 236220. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The tentative bid opening date is 16 November 2009. Bid packages will be available on or about 16 October 2009. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this web site. Bidders are required to verify the number of amendments prior to the proposal due date.
