- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved due to only one source being available (FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) or 16.505(b)(2)(ii)). RECOVERY THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912DY-08-R-0003-02. RECOVERY-THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE UMCS III PROGRAM. This opportunity is available only to the following Unrestricted Multiple Award Task Order Contractors (MATOC): Johnson Controls Building Automation; W912DY-09-D-0037 due to the proprietary system. The Contractor shall provide the materials and labor required to integrate direct digital control (DDC) systems into the Fort Bragg base-wide Utility Monitoring Control System (UMCS) manufactured by Johnson Controls, Inc, known as the LCS-8520, in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, specifications, Occupational Safety & Health Agency, and Americans with Disabilities standards, Underwriter Laboratories standards, and commercial practices as described in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) with the focus on safety and customer service. All components installed by the contractor shall be new. The Contractor is encouraged and expected to use innovative approaches to efficiently and effectively accomplish all requirements of the POW in a timely manner at reduced cost and in a way that fosters pride and ownership in the work performed.
