Description
The synopsis for this efforts is modified to include the following information: INDUSTRY DAY / SITEVISIT The Government plans to conduct an INDUSTRY DAY on 6 OCTOBER 2009 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City. Please note: the Sea Fighter vessel is unavailable for the Industry Day briefing. Attendees are limited to two individuals per company. Offerors are required to submit tojosephine.webb@navy.mil the following information prior to 1300 (CDT) on 2 OCT 09 in the following format: Name Company country of citizenship phone number/emailXXX XXXX XXXXXX XXX-XXX-XXXX @XXX.XX Attendees shall assemble at the Pass and Decal office at the main gate to obtain passes and badges. Each contractor shall bring a valid form of ID (Driver's license, State issued ID, or Passport). After the badges are processed the attendees shall proceed to Building 544, Conference Room 108. Additionally, a Site Visit on the Sea Fighter vessel is anticipated for 27 OCT 09 in Portland, OR. The Site Visit will consist a tour of the Sea Fighter vessel. Cameras can be used onboard the Sea Fighter ONLY. They cannot be used on the pier to take pictures of the outside of the Sea Fighter or any other vessel in the area There will NOT be a question and answer period during this visit. Neither the Industry Day nor the Site Visit are mandatory for proposal submission; however, it is anticipated the Industry Day will be more informative to address specific questions regarding the ship's hardware, configuration and operation. Questions concerning the details of the solicitation and resulting contract shall be submitted to josephine.webb@navy.mil. The solicitation and its amendments shall govern in the event of a conflict between information received during the site visit and the Government's requirements. Please note: Foreign Nationals are not authorized to attend either event.
