THIS SOLICITATION WAS PREVIOUSLY SYNOPSIZED UNDER SPRTA1-09-R-0708 FROM 18 SEPTEMBER - 29 SEPTEMBER AND WILL POST UNDER SPRTA1-10-R-0021 on 5 October 2009. To: PTI TECHNOLOGIES INC., OXNARD, CA. 93030-7983. IAW FAR 5.207(c) (15) (ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency Synopsis - 1650 Manifold, Hydraulic PR Number(s): FD2030-10-70074 Estimated Release date of RFQ: 5 October 2009 Estimated Response Date for RFQ: 4 November 2009 The anticipated award date will be: 30 November 2009 Item: 0001 New Manufactured Material or 0002 New/Unused Government Surplus NSN: 1650-01-269-9930 HS P/N: 41006382-101 Description: Utility Manifold. IDIQ Contract Contemplated with3 year ordering periodQuantity: Total contract BEQ of 61, Minimum Order Quantity is 5 each and Maximum Order Quantity is 30 each, with a Total Contract Maximum of 92each. Applicable to: F-15A-E Destn: FB2039, Tinker AFB Oklahoma History: Last purchase was July 1988 to PTI Technologies, Inc. Unit price was <$3,000.00 for a quantity of 308 each. Written response is required. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(13)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Fy10 funds apply to this requirement. No award can be made until fy10funds become available IAW FAR 52.232-18. Current qualified sources are: PTI Technologies, Inc. (Cage: 05228) Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
