- The U.S. Army Armament Research and Development Command (ARDEC), located atPicatinny Arsenal, NJ, is seeking capabilities statements from firms that can provide eight (8) floating network licenses, upgrades, updates, maintenance and technical support for Altium software that allows schematic capture (input) and simulation, printed circuit board (PCB) layout and simulation, as well as, provide output files for production of PCBs. Reliable and usable Altium Software is essential for ARDEC electronic engineers to utilize in the creation and testing of Fuzing Hardware. The software required must support and interface with the proprietary Altium Circuit Designer file structure, as all of the Fuzing designs, programs, and projects are stored in the proprietary Altium Circuit Designer file structure. The required software will help ARDEC engineers to avoid production errors by providing simulation and testing via the Altium software. This Market Survey is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). This Market Survey is not to be construed as a commitment by the U. S. Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this Market Survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this Market Survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. Please submit your responses NLT 1500hrs (3:00 PM) EST, 8 October 2009.
