- Description
- subcontract to be awarded from the proposals RFP document for responses The purpose of the work under this RFP is to catalog somatic DNA changes that are associated with cancer. The transcriptome sequencing would also generate information about transcript levels, alternative splicing, chimeric transcripts due to chromosome translocations as well as detection of somatic DNA changes and these results would be part of the deliverables as well. The genome sequencing can be used to identify chromosomal rearrangements, including deletions, amplifications and translocations as well as the detection of somatic DNA changes and this should be part of the deliverables. Several alternative strategies are suggested. Offeror proposals must justify the sequencing strategy selected, address specifics of the sequencing technology, as well as lay out the analysis plans.
