- Business Questionnaire Special Contract Conditions Table of Contents Provisions Clauses SF 1449 Statement of Work The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Bennettsville, South Carolina intends to make a single award to a responsible business entity for the provision of Pharmacist services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC), 696 Muckerman Road, Bennettsville, South Carolina 29512. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The contract period shall consist of a base period from the date of award through 12 months, and a one-year option period for renewal at the discretion of the Government. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the field of Pharmacy services, and compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations. The contractor's performance shall be monitored by the Contract Monitor (CM) and the contractor must have the ability to work with an inmate population from a variety of cultural, regional, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. The successful contractor shall provide Pharmacy Services consistent with medical standards. The contractor shall be experiened as a Pharmacist and be a graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy. As well as, the contractor must possess and maintain a current license and registration for the state of South Carolina. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621399, with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. Services will be provided for individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. Yearly contract requirements include an estimated 1560 one hour sessions. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 29, 2009, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is October 30, 2009. The solicitation is restricted to small business sources.
