- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Winston-Salem Regional Office, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Division (VR&E) has a requirement for Interim VR&E Services (6 month base period with two 90-day option periods) for the entire STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA. The solicitation may result in one or more contracts. The contract(s) will be performance based, fixed price; indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set aside based on market research obtained from historical data and other regional offices. The services for this requirement include Complete Initial Assessments/Evaluation, Case Management, Employment Services, Educational and Vocational Counseling, and Discrete Services. Prospective offerors must have established professional office space in the State of North Carolina, within 50 miles of major metropolitan areas and within each 100 mile radius of jurisdictions served. Award(s) will be made based on the evaluation criteria established in the solicitation. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED ON OR ABOUT SEPTEMBER 28, 2009.
