- RECOVERY - "in compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Re-investment Act of 2009, Pub.L. 111-5, the Government posts this notice of intent to issue a task order under the General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 736, Category 736-5 Technical and Professional Occupations - Small Business Set Aside. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) SCHEDULE 736, CATEGORY 736-5. The purpose of this requirement is to obtain temporary federal contracting support services for three (3) contract specialist positions. The duties include: assisting and supporting the Division of Procurement Management, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in the acquisition planning, preparation, pre-award, negotiation, award, post award and close-out (cradle-to-grave) phases of the federal/contracting cycle. Candidates will be expected to have extensive knowledge and experience in federal government contracting, the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and an electronic interface system used to process contract awards. The period of performance for this assignment shall be one-hundred twenty (120) days from the effective date of contract (EDOC). Teh anticipated award resulting from this notice is a Firm-Fixed Price Task Order.
