- The purpose of this modification to HAAWC RFI SolicitationN00024-09-R-6252 is to provide clarifications relating to the HAAWC technicaldata. The additional HAAWC technical data provided to respondents that requested thedata, has been provided for informational purposes only and should not beconstrued as final design requirements. With regards to the additional HAAWC technical data, the followingclarifications are provided:.The additional HAAWC technical data demonstrates a design that allowsfor a 1.5 inch clearance between the aircraft structure and the store..This criteria exceeds the absolute minimum static clearance of 1.0 inchas dictated by MIL-STD-1289C and allows for lug misalignment and other aircraftbuild tolerances..The MK 54 solid model provided in the additional HAAWC technical datahas known protrusions that penetrate the bomb bay model stay out envelope but iswithin the allowable store-to-aircraft clearance. No formal response is required to this modification.
